Sitting in between Lake Waubesa and Lake Kegonsa, the village of McFarland is a great place to get a taste of southern Wisconsin. In the summer months, pick up fresh produce, home ground coffee, and gift items and accessories from local vendors around the area at the McFarland farmers market. Before the leaves start to change, enjoy listening to live music or watching the annual parade at the McFarland Family Festival. Maybe don’t indulge in too many of the festival treats before going on one of the many rides the event has to offer. Once winter rolls around, take your loved one for a romantic sleigh ride at Rocking L Acres. Want to take the entire family along? No worries, the sleighs can seat up to 12 guests. McFarland is also known for its great ice fishing on either of its two neighboring lakes. There is always something to do for every season of the year in this homely village.
